Continuous Change – Quantum Level

The tallest mountains are changing at their subatomic level, even though such change may be measurable only by the most sophisticated of instruments. The changes in the autumn leaf–first its color, then its fall from the limb, then desiccation and disintegration–are visible to the naked eye, but its cellular changes at the quantum level are essentially no different from those of the great mountain.
